About This Place

Nestled on WI-138 in the heart of Stoughton, Pancake Café Stoughton is a vibrant breakfast, brunch, and lunch destination that beckons with its inviting aroma of freshly brewed Hawaiian Kona coffee and sizzling specialty Cut Jones Farm bacon. This charming eatery elevates classic American morning fare with an extensive, thoughtfully curated menu that ensures there's something to excite every palate.

The culinary offerings here read like a celebration of comfort food done right. Imagine diving into the warm, golden layers of the Apple Pancake, its tender sweetness balanced by a hint of spice and a buttery finish. Or savoring the decadence of the Banana Stuffed French Toast, where luscious banana melds perfectly with a crisp exterior and hints of vanilla. Savory enthusiasts will delight in the Hangover Burrito—scrambled eggs, chorizo, diced ham, fresh hashbrowns, and melted pepper jack cheese enveloped in a warm flour tortilla—or the crowd-favorite Steak and Eggs, where every bite is hearty and satisfying.

Pancake Café Stoughton's dedication to freshness shines through in their freshly squeezed Orange Juice, perfectly tangy and refreshing, and in their handmade sausage gravy, which enriches every biscuit and gravy duo with rich, meaty goodness. If a lighter option is on the mind, their Cafe Cobb salad, loaded with grilled chicken, crispy bacon, eggs, and shredded cheddar, dressed in a homemade honey mustard, provides a delightful balance of textures and flavors.

The atmosphere resonates with warmth and a community spirit—spacious indoor and charming outdoor seating offer a relaxed, family-friendly environment where guests often linger, savoring each bite. Faith Barrett’s glowing endorsement captures this perfectly, applauding not only the delicious food but also the impeccable safety measures, clean facilities, and the café’s genuine kindness towards families. Whether you’re feeding a hungry crowd or enjoying a quiet brunch, this café fosters a welcoming vibe that invites you to stay awhile.

Customer favorites consistently include decadent treats like the Belgian Waffle adorned with fresh strawberries, the tender, melt-in-your-mouth Pecan Pancakes crowned with a cinnamon glaze, and savory specialties such as the Chorizo Skillet, a vibrant mix of roasted deep-fried potatoes, grilled onions, peppers, and scrambled eggs topped with melted cheese and served with a homemade biscuit.

While some may find a few dishes a touch on the sweeter or pricier side, as Abi Turner observed, the quality and care poured into the food justify the experience. Regulars like Joe Shmo eagerly come back for the thick, deliciously smoky bacon alone, while Amanda Correia praises the café as her go-to breakfast spot, always finding something new and delightful to try.

From early-morning coffee seekers to brunch lovers craving indulgence, Pancake Café Stoughton is a spirited hub of flavor and friendliness. It’s not just a meal here—it’s a celebration of good food, thoughtful service, and a community that makes every visit feel like coming home.

Delicious food, impeccable covid safety measures, a community driven experience, free kids meals, fresh orange juice and clean bathrooms! I really couldn't ask for more! We will return! The owner and staff were so kind and patient with my three kids as we sat for two hours shoveling delicious pancakes, omelets and crepes into our tummies! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and a huge menu- so many options for different brekkie, brunch and lunch preferences.

I got the very berry crepes which were really good. I also tried a bite of the stuff cinnamon french toast which was delicious but far to sweet for me. The pancakes and everything else my group got was just okay. It was a nice place to get a little breakfast but was apparently (according to my relatives) a hit expensive for the area. Everything cost about $10 a plate. I enjoyed my food and would go back if I was in town longer. Fair warning if you want the famous apple pancake it take 25min to cook.

We have been to Pancake Cafe a few times! Each time we have tried something different but have never been disappointed. This time we got to try to juicer! Fun and delicious! The only down side my daughter ordered the strawberry crepe one time and wasn’t a fan of it. She said it didn’t have enough flavor, it was missing the cream filling inside. Definitely a go to breakfast spot! Also there is a server there that is absolutely fantastic! We had her twice! Sorry I forgot her name but just overall a pleasure to be around!

We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The service was nice. Very relaxed and casual atmosphere from start to finish. The food is Excellent! I had a Banana and Pecan Bake with a Cinnamon topping. It does have sliced bananas in the middle and the cinnamon glaze had crusted over the top. It was Great! My daughter had a Strawberry covered Belgian Waffle and her friend had Chocolate Crepes. They both loved their choices. They are only open until 2 PM at the Stoughton location, so if you are looking for great breakfast food check them out. Thwy do offer steak and sandwiches, but I didn't look at that part of the menu too closely on this visit. If we are ever back in the area, we will stop here again.

I attended Boujie brunch and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and staff were welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious and so many different options. The mimosa bar was the icing on the cake!!! I don’t drink so the bartender made special mock-tails for me. I can’t wait for the Mother’s Day brunch!!!
